Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder.
This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event.
Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

Nice ambience.I wanted to celebrate my anniversary in a nice,elegant atmosphere and Guard and Grace is all that.Service was more than spectacular.Highly recommend for a date night,anniversary,or even to get a few drinks in at the nice bars set ups they provide.

Let’s unpack the experience. Food was very good and creative, but a couple of items left me a tad confused, especially the sashimi with Pop Rocks. There is a connection between Pop Rocks and the owners daughter, but that connection did not translate to my palate! The server did ask if we wanted them on our fish and we took a chance and said yes. Bad call. The Wagyu hanger steak was executed perfectly as was the cod. Both very good to excellent. The service was simply outstanding. The atmosphere was upscale cafe and lively. (If you are looking for a quiet place to have a romantic dinner, you may want to look elsewhere.) There is one big negative, the two top tables along the partition separating the bar area from the dining floor. They are way too small and not comfortable. Could barely fit entrees and drinks on the table, plus no room for your feet. Make sure you request NOT to sit at these “wee tables.” (The server did offer to move us as he could see we were not comfortable.) Overall, a very good food experience and I will go back if the opportunity presents itself!

Really nice ambiance and set up. Food is amazing especially the Brussels sprouts !

This was our first time trying Guard & Grace, our expectations were high. From the moment we arrived to the time we left everything was great! The food was delicious and the portions sizes were amazing! The cocktails and desserts were all fabulous! Our server was great she provided a full menu "walk-thru" and recommendations. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! P.S. add the truffle butter to the steak. This will be a regular dinner spot for my wife and I.

Service in the beginning was disappointing, the manager wasn’t very accommodating so it started the dining experience off on the wrong foot. Food was probably a 7 out of 10. Overall experience 5 or 6 out of 10.

Johnathan was the best waiter, he was very nice, and he answered all of our questions! It was very easy to get ahold of him, charismatic, and a cool guy.

The gnocchi was great. The steak was good. The wedge with shrimp was sub par. No dressing on the wedge and it had no flavor.
