Guest House Grill is a great local neighborhood restaurant. They have a variety of seating both indoors and under a patio or outside so there are a lot of selections. The food is very good each time we go and we go about 4-6 weeks. The service is always spot on and very friendly. Great place for both lunch and dinners. At this time it is so pretty decorated for the christmas holiday.

I come here often, at least once a month for either lunch, dinner, or appetizers. I was so happy to see they brought back All You Can Eat Spaghetti night on Mondays, so made plans with friends to meet there. The bartender was new and was spending an inordinate amount of time concocting some new cocktail for a patron at the bar, so it took longer than usual to get our drinks. The restaurant was sparsely populated, pretty sure everyone else was outdoors, and there was plenty of staff. Three out of four of us decided to order the spaghetti - nice salad, noodles, sauce and alleged bread. The dressing container was empty, there was no bread, so I mentioned it to our server. All three of us had to ask again to replenish the bread. This was not my usual experience with this restaurant, and I encouraged my friends to come back and give it another try. As for me, I shan't be going back for spaghetti and hope next time the service is what I've come to know and love at GHG.

We requested a booth at our reservation and that worked out great. I also mentioned that it was a celebration, but our waitress did not inquire about that. Our waitress, Hannah, was great. She was cheerful and very attentive. The restaurant was not busy at all, so it was very quiet. The issue was the food. Our daughter had the short ribs, and the whole plate looked very appealing and appetizing. My husband and I had the seabass special. It was asparagus with "mashed type" potatoes next, and then the seabass on top. Color-wise it was very unappetizing. We could only eat the top quarter of the asparagus as they were too stringy. The potatoes were fine, but almost flavorless. The fish was nothing special. I have had much better meals at Guest House Grill before, so I hope this special being below standard was an anomaly.

Had the salmon salad which was unimpressive. The dressing was pretty much tasteless. Others at the table enjoyed their choices.

I liked being able to make a reservation - and our requested booth was ready for us. The selection of entrees was great and though the portion size of my salad seems to have gotten smaller it was delicious! Everyone was friendly and provided great service.
