   Food was solid, but not truly great. Service pleasant but was fussy and overdone — too many people coming every minute or two to ask if we were happy with the drinks, the food, can we take this glass or late the instant it looked like we might be done with it, etc — we rarely had a moment’s peace to just enjoy the meal. Wouldn’t go back for dinner, though the downstairs bar looked nice and relatively quiet to get a drink or two.

   My wife and I had an amazing time at Gui. All of the service was very attentive, and Miguel was very thorough with the menu and his recommendations. Some of our favorites were the wagyu sando, prime rib, and baked alaska. Definitely the most unique steakhouse experience there is, and excited to come back. Another great restaurant Chef Shim!

   The steak was incredible. Would highly recommend getting a cut of steak and then planning the rest of your meal around that.

   Excellent! Up there with any steakhouse in the city. And One of the few good options near broadway theaters.

   Our experience was fantastic, the customer service was on point from the moment we walked in, and then it just got better. We loved the food- the filet, prime rib, gambas , fries and baked alaska were all the best! Our server Jose was probaly the best we have evr had in NYC and we go out every night, so thank you Jose. Definitely try Gui if you are in Hell's Kitchen r just make the trip!

   Food and service were good. Major complaint was that the prime rib was billed as medium rare to medium and they can’t accommodate any changes to temperature. That would have been fine except that it came out rare to medium rare, which I did not appreciate. I’m unlikely to order it again for that reason. Dan Dan noodles were the standout. Clam chowder pie was also delicious.

   Porterhouse incredible! Brussel sprouts as well - Edwin was fantastic Brought my best friend for her birthday and they came out with a little dessert! Such a great experience.

    Amazing meats & unique appetizers, sauces and flavors. Exquisite desserts! Possible to keep tabs reasonable, but also to really exploit an expense account! Be sure to try the A5 - they’ll even serve only a 2 oz. portion which, to quote certain SNL comics is like BUTTAH!
