Fantastic space. Beers are top notch including the locally brewed selections. Food was very disappointing. We knew going in the menu was somewhat limited but the quality of the food was underwhelming. Maybe some for focus on incorporating beer into the recipes would help. And since the place has a bakery, use that resource for sandwich rolls. Had a sandwich with a roll that looks like it came from the Jewels.

Excellent service and food! Enjoyed the bar and table views of the game. Loved the American brewed beer, in addition to traditional Guinness. Highly recommend!

A plus customer service… we knocked over a pint of beer. Staff showed up without being called, immediately clean up and provided gave us a replacement pint as well. Staff is knowledgeable on the beer selections and food. This is our 2nd visit and definitely not our last.

I'm sure this place is lively and fun in the summer. Our experience in January was extremely average with the service being fairly poor. At the biggest issue was our meals coming out at significantly different times. There were six of us - three got our food together and then it was about another 10+ minutes until the other meals arrived. While the restaurant was not very busy, we often had to chase down our waiter. There is a lot of fun Guinness merchandise for sale. The man working the sales counter was not very knowledgeable but not a big deal. I probably wouldn't go back in the winter but would try summer. The Guinness was good which is the main thing I suppose!

The 1910 burger was great and the cider was fabulous too! My son got the schnitzel and he absolutely loved it! Both of our plates were clean! Definitely going back when weather is warmer to sit outside

We love our birthday celebration at Open Gate. Great service, the beer is obviously excellent, and we all loved our food. I would visit again.

Guinness open Gate Chicago was ok. Service was Horrible. Our server was terrible. He didn’t get us any plates, silverware, napkins or refills on our drinks. I asked for another Beer and he never brought it to me. Terrible, terrible service.

Everything was amazing except the hostesses were clueless and we had to wait 36 minutes for our table. The hostesses are horrible.
