   I made a very last minute reservation on a Friday night on my way from another event. The kitchen closed within an hour of us coming but they were very gracious about making sure we had time to look at everything, reminded us about last calls for food, and were really accommodating for a last minute party.

   Our server was Josh; he was loud and rough, which made things uncomfortable. He’d definitely do better by having more training to polish his greeting and interaction with diners. We think this was more of a matter of lowering his intensity and don’t sense that he was acting intentionally amiss to us (there was nothing personal to us or others).

   The atmosphere was lively but still easy to talk and hear. The server was terrific and the food superb! Everything tasted fresh and delicious - definitely will come back. It was a perfect pre theatre dinner spot!

   Took a client to Gypsy Kitchen for dinner and ordered small and large plates. The service, cocktails, and food was outstanding. Great facility - I highly recommend GK.

   The restaurant puts a 3% "tariff" on every bill. This is not related to service. Also, we had asked the waiter if we could have separate checks, and he said yes. But when the one check came, he told us to use the QR code to separate it out because he was quite busy. It took us 20 minutes to do that. I like the restaurant, but I wouldn't go back.

Our QR code payment system is meant to make it easy to pay at the table and split checks, but it sounds like we should have explained it better or just handled it manually for you. Please accept our apologies. Regarding the 3% charge on your check, this small fee is in place to help cover the additional expenses from the voter-approved I-82 ballot initiative, which supports fair wages and benefits for tipped employees. Rather than raise menu prices across the board to help support them, we’ve chosen to add this as a separate charge so you can clearly see where these costs go--directly to our team.    Here’s a draft: I have absolutely nothing positive to say about my experience at Gypsy Kitchen. The food was the most subpar I’ve ever eaten in my life. We ordered an appetizer, main course, and dessert, and not a single dish was memorable or even remotely good. On top of that, the service was painfully slow, despite it being late at night with fewer people in the restaurant. Overall, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
