I have to share that my husband and I found it very refreshing that all of your staff were a group of young people that truly has genuine hospitality and aloha spirit. We eat out and travel alot and have noticed a decline of young people with helpful, servant hearts. Everyone that we witnessed there were young and were so full of aloha. The host, the servers on all the other tables, and our server were amazing! It was our first time at Gyu Kaku and we will definitely be back again. Food was awesome too!!

Food quality is great. We got the $27 AYCE bbq for lunch. It's was more than enough for us. Although there were not a lot of choices of veggies, the choices were everyone's favorite. This $27 comes with a desert as well.

Gyu-kaku Kapolei is amazing and we would recommend anyone to come here! The food is fresh and delicious, it’s not overly smoky- and it’s such a pleasant restaurant overall to eat at!

I usually don’t care to eat at places where I need to cook my own food. The last 3 times I ate at Gen’s, it was definitely not worth the price and meat quality was terrible. It was my first time eating at Gyu-Kaku had amazing service, the meat quality was fresh, and the meat and vegetable selection was a great price for the different lunch special they had.

Good service but the food and sauces were mediocre. The restaurant did not feel clean - sauce containers were sticky and there was dried sauce in the menu I opened.
