Hacienda Kitchen evokes ancient traditions, that contain stories of Costa Ricans who worked hard to harvest the land, where there was a gathering around the preparation of inherited recipes from generation to generation, seasoned with natural ingredients and with a genuine sense of sharing without haste in the heat of the stove in the great kitchens of yesteryear.
Next to the majestic central courtyard of the hotel, you can sit in front of the water fountain that gives life to the patio, or on the terrace overlooking the luscious gardens and golf (driving range), perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The interior area offers a warm characteristic atmosphere of a colonial hacienda.

Dinner on the terrace was served by a lovely waitress who was sympathetic to our jet lag. But the food was bland and not terribly appetizing. We found the portions unecessarily enormous. Breakfast was fine. Not great but fine.

Nos encantado todo, la vista increíble solo que no nos habían dicho que en el restaurante era buffet y al final pedimos la comida del bar. En un punto casi todos los meseros estaban cerca de la mesa y nos incomodó, el baño estaba lejos y cuando pagamos el mesero se tardo con mi tarjeta como por más de 5 minutos.

The buffet was busy and the food was what you would expect from a cheap buffet. Very expensive. Had to stand in line forever for the pasta station.

A place with a very nice atmosphere, perfect for special occasions or getting out of the routine. As it is a hotel, the finishes of the structures are invaluable and added to the great service provided by its staff make this place a wonder

Food has very salty, price is high considering it’s traditional Costa Rican food. Ambience & Service are nice.
