    There were 10 of us for a team lunch. We could not fault anything about this restaurant. The food was superb, the ambience was terrific. The service was exceptional. Can’t wait to come back.

    Great addition to Mexican cuisine in Melbourne. Good location, excellent food, wonderful service staff. A bit pricey, but this is not tex-mex. Only issue - it’s noisy. We came to eat and talk with friends, as you do when have a meal. We go to pubs or concerts halls when we want to hear music. We had to ask for the quite loud music to be turned down - twice, after another staffer turned it back up. It might also help the great staff understand what we were ordering if they could hear easily over the music as well and not requiring us to talk like teachers in front of 30 noisy kids.

    Delicious food that was great value, we had the mega banquet ($85) because I wanted the bone marrow - all the plates were full of flavour and well presented, we were well and truly replete. We told the waiter we needed to be out in time for a theatre show and they were really accommodating and sped up the delivery of food. Service was attentive and friendly, great experience overall.

    “Real” Mexican food -every course delicious , but it would be helpful if the menu made some mention of the level of heat (chiles) in each dish. Level of music on terrace too loud to carry on a conversation without yelling at each other. I suppose some people like this, but our group of four did not.
