   Note, On booking table, a request for reason, reason for lunch partner birthday. Questionable to ask and not recognise reason at club. Food selected was great. Desert selected Mango sorbert Ice cream was to our experience honestly "yukky". Coffee and cake later was good. Thank you. Peter Picone (member #41897)

   What a disappointment!! When I was looking to book for a place to have Christmas lunch early December I was told at the Mingara front desk that Hadley's was a beautiful setting restaurant and that they would get the restaurant decorated with a Christmas theme and it was definitely a place to enjoy their special delicious Christmas lunch. However, we were tucked away in a most boring second room with no Christmas decor but just a tinsel scrunched up in a ball with baubles stuck in it as the table decor. We also were not told that it was not table service until we enquired and had been waiting for a while. So we had to line up like one does at a canteen to order and pay for our meal (not at all like the impression I was given). But the highlight (NOT) of it was our meal - 4 of us ordered the Christmas trio meats with vegetables and gravy. To think that Hadley's prides itself for its food is a joke. The meats were deli cuts of cheap ham, turkey and lamb. Two huge chucks of steamed tasteless pumpkins pieces, some overcooked beans and I X tasty roasted potatoe piece. My meal also had the mint jelly and red currant jelly. This was not given in my husband's meal and for my son who requested to have chips instead of the potatoe was given just chips no vegetables at all. They just made an executive decision to omit the vegetables as they were giving him chips with the cheap deli meats and gravy. In my 35 years living in Australia this has to be the WORST Christmas meal I have ever had! They even brought the meals out while we were having entree. Cant believe that you would have a reputable restaurant serving the main course while we are still eating the entree, The whole thing left such a bad taste in all 6 of us who had lunch there. Word of mouth will get around fast on our experience with Hadley's

   Food was nice atmosphere nice Drinks took awhile to get to us due to new staff member who had no idea how to make a cocktail. Not his fault but didn’t think Xmas eve best day to have newbie doing cocktails. Should have just stuck with normal drinks

   Short of staff. One person serving the bar despite a long line of customers. Queue for the bar goes through seating area. Need for bollards as they do at airports etc to guide queuing. No one around to tidy up tables after guests had left. Can’t order specials on the app

   Service great from time greeted at front of Mingara, when we entered the Hadleys Restaurant and throughout our meal. Meal presented well, fresh and tasty and follow-up by staff on the meal was appreciated. Recommend this venue for any type of personal or business occasion.

   1.5hr wait for steak last night unfortunately. Other aspects were good, the family with us ordered at counter not qr code like us and got theirs much earlier.

   During busy holiday periods you may need more kitchen staff as we had to wait 1.30 hours for our meals. I noticed quiite a few other people asking where their order was as they had to wait a long time. Otherwise everything was good.

   Overall it was ok for a club. Food was not good. The vibe and eating area was really good I love it since the Reno. But food needs a lot of work. Nothing about it would make me come back here.

   I booked a table outside they put us inside. I ordered a medium rump steak it came out almost blue and full of fat was the worst steak I have eaten. Pizza was terrible other steak was ok but waisted money for terrible food.
