We visited the restaurant today with 3 of our children. We all had a carvery ranging from large to small. Vegetables cooked to perfection, meat just perfect. Ambience in the restaurant was great. Service was amazing. Will be returning soon

A smooth and slick operation by the staff given it was almost a full restaurant. We were seated at our pre designated table straight away and after a short wait, our order was taken and we were given tokens for the carvery. The carvery was well stocked, everything cooked well and hot. A good example of a Sunday carvery. All in all a lovely Sunday lunch out.

We had booked a post Christmas lunch for 5 friends. We received a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was excellent, we had a variety of meals, steak & ale pie, fish & chips, bean burger, king prawns, salad, etc. All very tasty, well cooked and presented. We moved from our table after eating to a more relaxed area and ended up staying for 5 hours. A great pub with great atmosphere. Recommended.

I have visit twice now. The first food was amazing but there was a smell as you entered the venue. This time food was ok but a little over cooked and the smell was horrendous. We had to ask to be moved as the smell was so bad. They have a serious issue with their drains. However service was outstanding
