Ham Yard restaurant has a frequently changing menu revolving around the freshest, seasonal ingredients and the best of British produce. Dishes range from house-glazed Ham Yard ham and hand rolled pasta to chilli beans on toast and ice cream sandwiches and not forgetting the ever popular Champagne afternoon teas. We were here for our anniversary. We arrived early and were seated in the bar area. The service from our arrival and throughout, was exemplary. The food was delicious and bought out with good time, we felt neither rushed nor like we were waiting an age. We will again return.

The dining room is lovely as was our table. We had a charming waiter but the food was some of the food was awful, over seasoned, gristly lamb, over cooked pasta and my sea bass was at best mediocre. The chicken schnitzel was actually just fried chicken. The manager came to apologize but didn’t take anything off the bill. I had been thinking about staying at the Ham Yard. The room look chic and spacious but having the terrible dining experience deterred me from retuning

We had a lovely afternoon tea although I thought that the portion of sandwiches was too little for the £45 per person price. You have to pay £7 for extra portion!
