HANDSHAKE BAR spans two levels, each offering a selection of our most iconic cocktails. Both spaces provide a warm, intimate atmosphere. One level is slightly larger to better accommodate guests.

Reservation Duration:
Reservations last 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing time to enjoy our cocktails and unique ambiance.

RESERVATION POLICIES:
The maximum number of guests per reservation is six. For groups of five or more, a deposit of $250.00 MXN per additional guest is required, processed via credit card through Open Table.

Multiple reservations and combining tables from different bookings are not allowed. There is a 15-minute grace period; after this time, the reservation will be marked as a no-show.

Deposits are non-refundable if you do not arrive within the grace period.

Thank you, Valeria, for the hospitality. The Hot and Cold drink was truly the highlight of my evening. Lived up to its reputation!

Pros: The drinks were amazing and unique! Each one was 10/10. Presentation was really fun. Mine came with a chocolate banana ganache Lego!! Cons: idc about service that much but this was ridiculous. We had a reservation for 10:30, but they made everyone with a reservation wait in a line and we weren’t seated until 10:50!! And they are insanely strict about their 1.5 hour time limit. They asked for last call from us at 11:30 and we ordered one more drink to split. The check comes and we still don’t have our drink. I ask the waiter and say we haven’t gotten it, but he says it’s too late because our reservation time is up?? They were also starting the 1.5 hour time from 10:30 and not 10:50 when they seated us so we literally only had an hour in there. They refused to give us the drink we already ordered and we just had to pay and leave because they said they have more reservations after us. That’s not my fault you sat us 20 minutes late wtf. Also mentioned in the res that it’s my bday and guess they dgaf about that either. The drinks are great but the timing and service was so irritating I have no idea how this gets listed on the best bars in the world list. EDIT: apparently there’s a scam going on and they lead us to their downstairs “Compromiso “ bar instead of Handshake even though we have a reservation. Screw this place will never go back

Ambience, staff, and drinks were great. Only complaint was that they didn’t fulfill the 90 minute reservation. Our reservation was at 9:00, however, after we checked in, we still had to wait around and we were not seated until 9:20. We were then told that we still had to leave by 10:30. The experience felt rushed and was not entirely worth the value imo.

More style than substance. Basically a bar made for Americans who want the clout of going to supposedly a hard to get into/exclusive bar.

Eric was our bartender and he was excellent. The drinks are amazing. My favorite was match made in heaven. Also, one of the best old fashioneds I have ever had.

Incredible drinks and experience! Truly lives up to the hype. The moment you walk in, everyone greets you at once. Each cocktail was so unique. We especially loved the piña colada and the fig martini. Be forewarned that the complementary nuts they give you do have dried grasshoppers/crickets in them…Worth trying!
