Food was brilliant. When we arrived we were told that our booking wasn’t on the system (we’ve been told this before at 9 elephants as well). As this was a birthday meal and 6 of us were attending it is worrying to think if the restaurant was full what we would have done as we had bars booked as well so wouldn’t have been able to wait around. The food was lovely but most of the drinks were unavailable. Perhaps with the booking system not working the stock take wasn’t done properly. We would come back again but probably not if we had other things booked just incase our booking wasn’t recorded,

Perfectly quaint little restaurant found by mistake, very glad we did. Amazing food & drinks, attentive & friendly staff. Beautiful location on the old walls, very intimate playing great music you wouldn’t hear in other restaurants. 5* would definitely recommend.

The food was really tasty and the service was good. It was very quiet, at first we were the only table occupied.

Food very good but lack of chopsticks was poor but the worst thing was the state of the toilets - absolutely filthy which is basic for a food establishment- it’s not difficult to clean a loo, sink, tidy up the tissues and dust - cobwebs had been there for quite some time. Really let the rest of the experience down.

It's worth noting that there are 3 toilets located downstairs, which are shared among the other establishments within Rufus Court. We ensure our toilets are kept tidy and clean by sending a staff member there, especially during busy shifts. It's possible there may have been confusion regarding which toilet to use. Your feedback is invaluable, and we're committed to addressing these issues to ensure a better experience for our guests in the future. Food was lovely but we ended up waiting an hour for our mains which was a bit of a shame, staff were really nice and apologetic.

While we're glad to hear that you found our food lovely, we understand that the delay was disappointing. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. On Valentine's Day, we experienced an unexpectedly high volume of diners, and our kitchen was operating at full capacity to keep up. Despite turning off our takeaway service, we still struggled to meet the demand, resulting in longer wait times. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated. We're committed to learning from this experience and improving our service in the future. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a smoother and more enjoyable dining experience. First time here and the memories of our trip to Vietnam in October 2023 came flooding back. Staff very friendly and attentive, food is amazing and a good choice of drinks too. We will surely be back for more in the future 🙏🏻

Absolutely lovely. Gorgeous food and great service. Would have liked a slightly bigger portion for main course but otherwise fabulous little place tucked away in city centre.
