   I noted that we had a special birthday and would be really grateful if they could add a candle to the dessert we would order. The hostess informed me in the presence of the birthday girl that “they couldn’t possibly add candles to the dessert” as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. In addition the staff had to be constantly reminding to top up our wine glasses. If you want good service avoid.

   Disappointing and squashed. Eaten there a couple of times but not for about two years. Eggs were cold. Had to ask for lime for the line and soda. No atmosphere. Sitting elbow to elbow with the next table.

   This is my 5th visit and every time we are exposed to the grumpy and cursed attitude of the man at the welcome desk. He is always rude and always creates problems. He is rude to people before they even enter the restaurant and disregards their pleasure.

   Terrible Experience – Unprofessional and Amateurish! I had one of the worst dining experiences at this restaurant. I ordered a bottle of wine, and after waiting 25 minutes, a staff member finally came over—only to tell me it was out of stock. Why did it take so long to figure that out? We received our menus and specifically asked to wait 10 minutes before getting our food so we could enjoy our lunch at a relaxed pace. However, the pasta arrived just one minute later—completely ignoring our request. Then came the biggest disaster: my black truffle risotto arrived ice cold. I sent it back, expecting a fresh, properly heated dish. Instead, it returned one minute later, now covered in parsley—which was NOT listed as an ingredient on the menu. When I asked the manager, Melissa, why my dish was covered in parsley, she insisted it was in the menu description. Well, guess what? It wasn’t! As an Italian who has lived in the UK for 20 years, I know what proper service and food should look like. Lying to customers and making excuses is the height of unprofessionalism. If you can’t own up to your mistakes, you don’t belong in the hospitality industry. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated like an afterthought.

   The main manager was great, he moved our table when we asked and was very attentive. We were asked if we were Muslim and we’re not, but the way it was asked seemed offensive if I was a Muslim and therefore I do believe staff do require training. Apart from the manager, staff were not attentive which was disappointing otherwise I would have given 5 stars

    This lively restaurant offers a brilliant and diverse Italian menu of delicious food. The seafood is spectacular. Service was outstanding from greeting throughout the meal. We will return!
