NEW YEARS EVE DINNER 2024 They put on a special seafood dinner with fresh seafood sourced from their sister business, Fish and Fowl, and it was all they promised it to be and more! The service was absolutely amazing and faultless, and so were the tasty, fresh meals. We ordered from the à la carte menu, which was all able to be gluten-free except for one dish that had bread, so Chris, who is gluten intolerant, and I were able to share our meals. While waiting for the entrée to come out, they served us a plate of prawn cocktails each, which was a very tasty start to the night, and they were a different spin on them by serving the prawns diced in a tasty, mildly spiced sauce. For an entrée, I had pan-seared Hokkaido scallops, which were served with a parsnip purée, black pepper, curry leaves, and scallion. Chris had the freshly shucked rock oysters, served with lemon and chardonnay mignon. Then afterwards, for mains, I had the tikka-spiced fish fillet, served with Bombay potatoes, carrot salad & mint yoghurt. Chris had the West Australian lobster mornay, that was served with an Asian salad and toasted seaweed aioli. What we loved about their menu was you could order as much or as little as you liked, and there were even non-seafood items such as steak and Koshi Hikari Risotto to have if you wanted. I think The Hatter's initial seafood special night was a great idea, and they will have people flocking in to indulge as they’re expanding their menu soon, so we are looking forward to it. 🤤

**Review of Last Night's Seafood Dinner at Hatters Restaurant** Last night’s seafood dinner at Hatters Restaurant was absolutely incredible. The seafood was so fresh, you could taste the quality in every bite. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced – truly one of the tastiest seafood meals I’ve ever had in my life. They mentioned they source their seafood daily from the Sydney Fish Market, which explains the exceptional freshness and taste. The staff were not only friendly but also very knowledgeable, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing dinner. Although it’s early days for their dinner service, they’re already planning to expand the menu – and based on this experience, I can’t wait to see what’s next! We’ll definitely be coming back.
