Since 1938, Hattie’s has served fine Southern and Louisiana cuisine in a friendly, downhome
atmosphere, earning legions of fans for the past 85 years. Over its long history,
Hattie’s has provided consistent commitment to its customers, staff, and community
across several locations in the Capital Region of New York. Currently, customers can
enjoy the Hattie’s experience at the original restaurant in Downtown Saratoga Springs,
a quick service offering in Wilton Plaza, and a seasonal location at the Saratoga
RaceTrack and now at the Historic Lombardos landmark in Albany!

Great meal! Fried chicken and shrimp n grits were delicious. Will go back to try other options. I like the initiative of first time restaurant staff and giving to the food bank. Off street parking is a bonus

My companions, who are French and serious about food, enjoyed the fried chicken and ribs combo plates. I had the jambalaya which could have been just a touch more moist. Severe a little surprised at the pricing of the top shelf bourbon but could have inquired before ordering. They noticed with interest the social mission of the restaurant and applauded it.

Second time dining at Hattie’s. Food was great, excellent service- great birthday dinner!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our food was very good except that my dish was a little too spicy for me. I had the shrimp and grits which was very good but spicy. I asked for less spicy and I’m not sure if that message was relayed to the kitchen staff. We will be coming back as I’m looking forward to having ribs

We had an excellent meal here. Fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and spare ribs were delicious.

I was not impressed. The food arrived and was not hot. Sent several dishes back, which i never do. Cocktails were amazing but I would not return for a meal.

Food was delicious. Our group had fried chicken, chicken and waffles and steak frites -all were very pleased. Also the mojitos - yum! Will definitely return.

Hattie’s comfort food never misses the mark. Parking was easy for our guests. We had great food, great service, and the room with the beautiful bar was perfect for our group. A great place to eat before an event at the MVP Arena. We’ll be back!

We are never disappointed!! The food and service is top notch. Hatties is clean and warm and cozy ambiance We are regulars now

Very good southern fare. Fried chicken, ribs, catfish all very tasty. Chicken and fish moist, ribs not quite fall off the bone, but tender with sticky sweet sauce lightly applied. Sweet potato fries very good. Cajun slaw just average. Attentive and polite service all around. Moderate crowd and not noisy but with a full house it could be. Nice decor reminds of Lombardos but brightly lit. A would dim the lights. Key lime pie was a big slice and good mix of sweet n tart. No drizzles added. Decent coffee and they have cafe du monde as an option. Very nice. New years eve, chose from standard menu.
