   Good vibes place for brunch. Big portions and friendly service both times I’ve been there. Healthy options and some more interesting choices than typical breakfast joints.

   Great margaritas, the fries and brava dip were great as well as the guacamole and fish tacos. Our server was excellent. Very friendly staff from the minute we walked in.

   Havana had a lot of vibe. Three of us had a good meal but the fourth person had shrimp and it was too spicy. We ended with chocolate cake and a brûlée which was delicious.

   The guy wouldn’t leave us alone to enjoy our food. Despite the restaurant being practically empty he would come over and pester us constantly. We would be enjoying one course and he’d ask if it was ok to bring over the next one. Surely it’s obvious? Our plates still had food on them? So the second time he asked we plainly told him that we were happy taking our time and, despite this, he brought over the mains seconds later? So weird. It was like he was totally oblivious to the protocols of a normal dinner service. Felt rushed and awkward the entire time.

   We live in the neighborhood and make occasional visits, including New Year's Eve. The Latin vibe to the decor and menu are a nice change from other fare on the Drive. The service was great and the food was good. The margaritas by the pitcher were a little watered but tasty. We are not big supporters of tap wine but at least it came from a good BC winery. We gave the visit a 5 but have two comments. The noise was a huge obstacle to enjoying the evening, although it was New Years Eve. Second is that the bar tenders were not well versed in drinkology and were very disconnected. Having said that, we will go back. Q
