   The food at this restaurant is beyond excellent. Wide array of appetizers. Staff were so friendly. Great, hip atmosphere. Seared hanger steak, shrimp and grits, Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls, Steak Tips…all top notch. We’ve been in Hamden 2 days and ate there twice because it’s so good.

   The chicken sandwich was supposed to be chicken breast and it was boneless chicken thighs. That were absolutely disgusting.

   This was our second time at Haven. Our first time was over the summer in the Biergarten and we had a blast, so we decided to try out the indoor seating this time. We had a large group and our waitress was very patient with us and efficient. The autumn sangria is amazing and fried pickles are a favorite. The food is extremely good for a “craft beer” place and they have a wide variety of other cocktails for us non beer drinkers. We will definitely be back again.

   Food quality not what it used to be. Order came out wrong. Drinks were slow to arrive and were missing an item. Just not a good experience anymore. Very disappointed.

   Great food and beer. Super busy night. Server was not driendly and seemed stressed. No water. Very party-like atmosphere. Lots of college students.

    Great night out with friends. Everything here has been top notch. Was my third time coming and it’s been the same great service, food and ambiance! Definitely recommend.
