The service was slow for drinks to start with in bar , atmosphere buzzy , the food was nice but only warm when it was served . Went to Hawksmoor in Edinburgh and it was superb . This experience wasn’t as good . Was also sitting under aircon so was quite cold . Wouldn’t go back here again .

Great team Always deliver - they were so run off their feet today and still smashed it Christmas side dishes are insane Great rapport with the team and it shines through Food great - that’s a given though Delicious - thank you

All Asian people including me were given tables near the entrance. Racist restaurant. Sunday roast was average.

Overall experience was a bit disappointing, food was pretty average nothing special. Service was very good, shame we were put in the bar as it lacks atmosphere.

Really disappointing experience today at our favourite restaurant in London. Firstly got the wrong wine served (I asked for Sauvignon Blanc which was repeated to me) and despite being sat by bar, got given a red! Then waited about 20-25 mins in total and asking twice to get my one glass; it arrived just before the meal. Unfortunately despite my daughter ordering rare and me well done (which we do every time); mine was very tough, overdone and was clearly the end of the joint… I was expecting to be asked how was meal after a few bites to point out the meat and the measley potatoes (just 3 tiny ones) but the server didn’t ask. Even when he collected the plates and could clearly see the meat has mostly been left, didn’t ask was it ok/did we enjoy it and just asked if we wanted desserts. By this point I just felt frustrated and disappointed, I looked at dessert menu but as meal had lacked lustre on some key elements when it’s normally superb (the rest was good), I just wanted to go. I asked for the bill, again not asked how was the food etc, just paid and left. Really annoying! Have had that server before, he was polite and friendly however poor service around the drink and checking on food; as that would have been opportunity to rectify. Sub standard which was not expected as you guys normally smash it!

Hawksmoor offers a solid Sunday roast that’s worth trying. The portions are good, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding are delicious (also, order the side of stuffing - you won't regret it). Staff were attentive and efficient, although I found the venue on the pricier side for both food and drinks.

Absolutely disgusted with one of the waitresses. Being served a £46 steak and told to ‘just cut into the middle of it and see whether it’s your steak’ is completely unacceptable, and for her to roll her eyes and huff/laugh when she walks away when we have a £500 bill. Disgusting and shameful

We were rushed through our dinner that made the experience unpleasant, we didn't even have to ask for the bill, as it was given to us, clearly wanting us to move on. Having eaten here many times previously and taken customers, I was a little surprised to be put under such pressure for what should have been an enjoyable night out.
