   Great to have an early-bird menu option before heading to a gig on a Saturday evening - our main reason for visiting Liverpool. Lovely choice of well prepared, delicious, classic food without gimmicks. Had the potted beef starter and Hake mains. Service was prompt, pleasant and neither fussy nor pushy and we were never made to feel that we needed to make way for the main dinner service. Would highly recommend.

   First time at. Liverpool Hawksmoor. Great mea, service and surroundings as ever. Still think Hawksmoor do the best steaks ever.

   Really good food value for money. Waiters / waitresses was excellent made it very pleasant we asked a few questions and didn’t feel that they wasn’t bothered, they went out there way to help and very attentive. Excellent all round.

   The steak was nice, how ever the price is jusy for a steak everything else is extra. There was only two of us eating and they put a service charge of £18 on the bill which I think is cheeky it is optional but it is embarrassing to tell them to take it off. I would always tip however I don’t like to be told the amount I am tipping.

   The service was amazing. We found the scallops overpowered by garlic. The hake was cooked to perfection but again the associated vinegar peppers took over the taste. The rolos were very tasteful & coffee was lovely. Wine was good too. Overall we thought that £187 was expensive for what we had. The table waiter was a great guy & an asset to your business.

    The restaurant was busy when we arrived at 7.45pm on a Friday and very noisy. The music added to the noise level but we couldn’t hear what was playing. We ordered wine and cocktails, wine took 5 minutes to arrive, cocktails took a long time! Maybe 25 minutes! I was very disappointed when the Reformed Pornstar turned out to be tasteless, bordering on revolting. The server said they’d take it off the bill but it was still there when we paid. The food came quickly but they had muddled up the order and overcooked one steak and undercooked another. They were able to rectify one of these by cooking it more but they couldn’t do anything about the other without a 25 minute wait to start again. There was no apology for the error despite 2 servers saying they would inform the manager. The steaks were too salty and I like salt! The side orders of creamed spinach, garlic mushrooms and triple cooked chips were very tasty! We had the tiramisu for dessert, it was massive, easily serve 3 people and delicious! Overall, a disappointing evening! 4 people eating cost almost £400 and the best bit was the side orders! I understand it was a very busy time but if you can’t provide good service and food to every customer, don’t take so many bookings.
