Some places won't make any changes to a menu item, but when I couldn't decide between two dishes the waiter suggested I just get some of both on my plate. They charged me for the slightly higher priced item, which is fine. The important part is I got to try two items and the waiter suggested it! Both were excellent, so may ask for this favor again.....

I've been to hundreds of Mexican joints in Chicago and this was the lowest. We went by for lunch and got the very well priced $7 meal since everything else was well over $12 for basics. Even at $7, this was bad. The lowest quality ingredients with zero flavor. Even the $9 Guacamole (that came with stale hard chips) was blended not mashed. To add insult to injury, I presented my $20 Open Table check which is usable at any Open Table restaurant and they refused to take it even after talking indirectly to the owner who couldn't be bothered to walk 20 feet to talk to us.

A group of friends went to celebrate a birthday and everything was perfect. Our table was waiting for us a few minutes ahead of our reservation so we were able to add a few decorations. We started with delicious margaritas and freshly made guacamole. Everyone was able to find something they enjoyed on the menu including vegetarians and picky eaters. They even surprised the birthday girl with a fantastic dessert of sopapillas and ice cream! We didn't feel rushed to leave even on a busy Saturday night. Everyone had a great time! Highly recommended!

Quality food and service. It's a much larger space than it lets on from the street and can get pretty busy and crowded. Plenty of families and kids and groups, which contributes to pretty high noise and tight seating at times. Staff is very nice and it's just a short walk from the train.

I will admit i'm not one to greatly enjoy Mexican food but for those who do will find a good meal here. I went with one of their combination plates that has a little bit of everything and i left satisfied with each part. I also discovered that Mexican hot chocolate is a thing, and its amazing!

The red snapper filet was delicious! I also loved that it was served with rice and a fresh salad which included beautiful large avocado slices-yum! I'll be back.

We enjoy the food,the time..and is a nice place for talking with your friends and enjoy the food, and I recommend it that margarita mango..! Is so delicious...!😀😀😀😀

We went to Hay Caramba to celebrate my father's birthday. Our server was so attentive. When we mentioned our margaritas were a bit on the sweeter side, they brought us a new pitcher right away. The owner even came out to wish my father a happy birthday as well. He mentioned its an extra happy birthday since he will have a new son soon ( my fiancé). She engaged us in conversation, asking about our wedding date, etc. It was a great night with great food, and great company!
