   The manager, William, made our New Year’s Eve perfect. We had reservations but somehow Open Table did not indicate there would be a limited menu. William was able to provide us with a more expanded menu which allowed all of us to stay within our dietary restrictions. Juan, our server, did an excellent job and provided us with impeccable service. We have been to all the Hearsay’s in the Houston area now and we have never been disappointed. Food. Service. Atmosphere. Drinks. All excellent. Thank you William and Juan.

   Everything was great. We were seated at a round table (thanks) but it was right by the door to the hotel lobby, so a bit distracting. Food, service, decor, all good. Christmas music would have been nice, but maybe we didnt hear it due to the noise level.

   Christmas Eve dinner with our adult children. Our server was exceptional and the food was amazing. Subtracted for value because it’s not a budget restaurant. It was expensive but we knew that going into it. The food and drinks were well worth the price we paid. All the dishes met or exceeded expectations. Lovely restaurant.

   We visited on Christmas Eve at noon and found the restaurant nearly empty. Despite this, we were seated at the smallest table tucked away in a corner. The food was well-prepared, but our server seemed unhappy to be working on Christmas Eve. We had to gesture for her attention while she spent time on her phone in another corner of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the manager displayed a similar lack of engagement, also absorbed in his phone.

   Celebrated a birthday here and food was good all around. First round of drinks took 20+ minutes to arrive. Ordered a second round before dinner was served, and we were still waiting when our dishes were cleared 25 minutes later. We canceled the drinks at that point. Our server acknowledged they were taking a long time and said the bartender was still learning. Not sure if management was made aware of issue or not, but it seems like canceling over $60 in drinks would elicit a visit. Made for a disappointing birthday dinner.

   We had an early dinner before a concert at House of Blues. We were seated and served promptly, the food and service were very good. I would recommend Hearsay on the Green to anyone as a convenient place to eat to anyone going to an event at HoB, Toyota Center, or any other downtown venue.

    Great waitstaff! Good food and quick. We were a little disappointed they didn't have holiday specific drink options, but still good.
