The worst food I have ever eaten, no joke. To anyone thinking about getting the £165 Christmas set menu, don’t. I was looking for a review when I booked this prepaid and couldn’t find one so I am writing this to be of service to someone else. Literally the most unflavorful meal I have ever eaten. My daughter’s cannelloni was uncooked and they had to give us a new one. I got the poached halibut which was meh, somewhat over salted. The amuse bouche cauliflower veloute was under seasoned. The worst thing was the apple crumble dessert. Undercooked sour apple chunks with a sandy undercooked crumble. Save your money, eat elsewhere. The service staff were attentive given how busy it was, and that’s the only good thing I can say about the place. Maybe Gordon Ramsey, you need to eat at your own restaurant and improve your standards. I went back to our hotel to eat some mandarin oranges.

Hard to believe this is a Gordan Ramsey restaurant. Had our Christmas dinner here. While the ambiance and the service was good, the meal was subpar. The four course meal had no imagination, very little flavor, and completely overpriced.

This was such a strange Christmas lunch. For the price we paid it was absolutely ridiculous. The best thing I ate that meal were the truffle nuts. The amuse bouche was missing salt — it was so underseasoned that it tasted like absolutely nothing. The beef Wellington was inconsistently seasoned. The parts that tasted good I could tell had salt, the other parts didn’t. I also ordered an earl grey tea. It came out in a nice looking pot but I don’t think there were enough tea bags for that pot size because the liquid was clear even after steeping for a few minutes. The desserts — Christmas pudding and apple crumble were not good. Should’ve gone to humble crumble for way better crumble. Christmas pudding tasted old and tough. We also received a birthday dessert even though we didn’t say it was our birthday? And even if it were, the waitress just left the dessert on the table while another table had waiters actually sing happy birthday to them. About the service — I get that it’s Christmas but it was super clear that the waitress did not want to be there. I don’t mind paying for a great experience and great food. But it’s incredible how this meal of this quality was 450 pounds. That’s absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for the quality of food we received.

The food was well seasoned, but the patty on the burger was overcooked and dry and the thick cut chips that came with the fish n chips were undercooked. These flaws is not what I would expect from a restaurant using the Gordon Ramsey name!

Our waiter was excellent, very professional and hard working. It really bothers me to see the wait staff working so hard and the managers just standing around. Would it hurt to help out once in a while? The tables felt very small. The beef Wellington was excellent and it made for a very special Christmas Eve dinner.

The restaurant is super cute; the food is mediocre. Service was okay until we paid. As we were finishing our wine (from the bottle we purchased at the restaurant), we were tapped on the shoulder by a manager who told us she needed the table and to hurry. We had literally just paid the bill not two minutes prior, but were told to hurry because they were super busy and needed us to leave. I made the reservations about six months prior to arrival because we were so excited to try the Wellington. However, it definitely wasn’t worth the wait and definitely not worth the price - especially considering the rude approach of the manager. There was not a line of people waiting to get into the restaurant so we were definitely all taken aback. My daughter - a cystic fibrosis warrior and aspiring chef, who is a huge fan of Gordon’s, wanted to try this restaurant specifically for the beef Wellington, but I would save your money and go to a pub for better service and better quality food - for a much cheaper price.

Food was pretty good but everything came out a little cold. Service was great but not sure I would go again, lot of good restaurant’s in the area and felt like I was part of a brand. Menu doesn’t have any personal touch and was all a bit predictable. Average experience.

Very good spot to eat in a central location with kids - staff were exceptional when our 3 year old got upset and cheered her up amazingly quickly

Gordon should stop touring America and check out his own restaurants. Very expensive, very average, very slow service. Not a bad experience but for that price won't be back. Attention to detail lacking, seamed short staffed and it was like a kids restaurant.
