   The cod had no flavor. The rabbit dish had very little rabbit meat. The server was too busy hanging out with the kitchen chit chatting. At one point the server and the cooking staff all disappeared together. I was excited to go here. I will not be going back. Too many other good options in Richmond.

   I hadn’t been to Helen’s in many years and it was every bit as good as I remembered. I brought out of town guests and all of us had a great dinner. The service was excellent and they accommodated two requests for substitutions graciously. It’s such a relief to take visitors to a restaurant and have them rave about their meal!

   Great drinks and delicious food! Old Fashion was so good. Best shrimp and grits I've ever had. The creme brulee was fabulous.

   Food quality excellent. Service not, took an hour to get our appetizer, others seated after us were already in their entree. Brought Brussels instead of cauliflower - we did not complain as we were starving. Server never came back to offer dessert - there was a birthday at our table and a dessert or cocktail would have been ordered. Ordered a bottle of wine, finished it and was never given an opportunity to order a second. The management at Helen’s lost $’s Sat night and it wasn’t even crowded.

   We love coming to Helen’s. We usually go on the early side so it’s never too packed. Sitting at the tables is nice, but we also like to sit up at the bar. The service is always great. The people that work there are super nice and it’s got a great eclectic mix of people. But so does Richmond in general. Helen is our favorite spot. The food is delicious!!

   I have never been to Helen's to eat but always heard great things. I cannot say enough good things about my experience on 09/07. The food was amazing and the service was perfect throughout the night. As a plus, the restaurant has a dj on Friday and Saturday night and is open till 2am. I highly recommend Helen's for a date night or any other celebration. I'll definitely be back!!!!!

    Although this establishment has been around a long time, the clientele is young adults. Menu is limited. Noise level is loud, felt like we were competing for air space. Service was good. But couldn’t wait to leave. For what I paid, I should have stayed home and cooked crab legs. Will not return.
