We had a 7.30pm booking. The kitchen closed at 8.30pm without us being advised and we had only had entrees. Not ideal.

Food wasnt' the best. Place needs a good clean! Back to Ramsgate for us!

I booked lunch for a group of 4 at ‘Melt’ however I was not informed Melt was now called Henley House with different menu - the group were looking forward to the shared tapas option. The service - 1. Henley House now prefer you to order and pay for your meal at the bar so if you decide later on dessert you need to repeat process. QR code options are coming to the table but as older diners I prefer to have waitress at table (is more personal plus you can ask questions - felt I was in a cafeteria) 2. Two of our main courses were brought to our table and being hot meals the recipients began eating. Unfortunately they were virtually finished their meals when the other two meals were brought to the table. 3. No water was offered.

My sister and I arrived and were quickly shown our seats with a "you need to order at the counter." Then we were totally left alone no offer of drinks or even water. There were about 10 people in the whole restaurant so they cant use the excuse they were flat out. One waitress fantastic the other looked like she didnt want to be there. Food okay but for the price the chips were overcooked and straight from frozen.

The change in menu and standard of food was disapointing as it has been a favorite of our family for some time.

Had a very pleasant evening,my cousin down from Brisbane.Has a very very very sick son in RAH so I needed to get her out for a few hours. The evening was perfect and enjoyed Melt and would recommend your restaurant Regards Rae

Lovely spot by the beach however service was very poor and inconsistent. The attitude of bar staff was not great, no table service if sitting outside - no ability to order from the menu linked from a QR code which a lot of establishments have move to when they can’t or won’t provide table service. Mains came before the starters, pizza was cold, some items of our orders forgotten and the staff didn’t appear to know what we had ordered. Pretty poor experience unfortunately, though one waiter was very good and provided us with a complimentary dish we had ordered but was forgotten or not entered when ordering at the bar.

No cutlery on the table was served without any. To dark could not read the menu. No online menu Food was dry and over priced, for what it was. All food came out separately. Starters came last
