We came in with high expectations, as the service and ambiance were truly excellent. The staff was attentive, and the setting was perfect for a nice evening out. Unfortunately, the food missed the mark. We ordered steak and frites, but our order came incorrect, and the steak was overcooked. It was disappointing, especially since everything else was so well done. It's a shame because I really wanted to love this place. I’m not sure I’d bring out-of-town guests here again, but perhaps I overestimated the food quality.

This was our first time at the Brasserie. While we enjoyed the elegant service and generally friendly service, the cuisine underwhelmed and was overpriced. My salmon tartare as an entrée lacked refinement. The portion was astonishingly meagre. My grilled scallops were smallish and overcooked, not plump and cooked to perfection. Two guests had the monkfish main course which appeared not to have been and was less then tender. The meal highlight was the copious creme brulée that ticked all the boxes. Sadly, the mille feuille was uninspiring and an unusually small portion. We will not plan a return on the near future although were told a better bet is Sunday Brunch
