It was my birthday but the servers did not add any candles to the dessert. I find it a bit odd to ask the occasion if it will not be taken care of. Also the woman at the coat check who was checking reservations was a bit mean. Considering that the restaurant is located in the heart of the Birks hotel, the management should hire people who can work under pressure, not hiss at customers. The waiter was convincing me to order a medium well steak like twice. I do not understand why it was necessary. Also we got handed dirty plates before receiving our appetizers.

One of the most beautiful spaces in Montreal with the classic chic of Paris or London. It was a particular busy night and our main dish took time to arrive, we were offered cocktail shrimp that was amazing. A definite must for a special night out.

Flavorful and truly delicious. Waitress was excellent but kitchen was overwhelmed and we had to wait a really long time for main course. That was the only blemish on an otherwise amazing experience

Even though it was valentines day the service was really fast the ambiance was amazing the food was good the place was not noisy which is rare considering valentines day. We loved it so much. Definitely will go again!

The ambience is beautiful with 20-foot ceilings and crown moldings but the food and service are very average. Not worth the very expensive price.
