   We will never return. This was our first visit to Hermanos, we ordered mussels, calamari, paella and surf and turf. Calamari was chewy and extremely salty. Mussels were described as creamy garlic wine sauce- ended up as raw garlic chunks with a whole can of olives. Terrible. Paella was not traditional in any sense, undercooked rice with canned tomatoes. Menu described it very differently. Surf and turf came cold, lack lustre and day old vegetables on the plate. Or so it tasted. We advised the server of our thoughts and didn’t receive a response. Thanks but no thanks. Never again.

   Was a bit disappointed by tonight's visit. Reservation wasn't ready, was going for valentines day and upset we couldn't even have a conversation as the music was too loud. Giving our order we had to yell at our waitress so she could hear us. Getting drinks took forever (need more bartenders) We also ended up at a table that everytime the door opened we got the brunt of the cold air, so we ate in our coats. Our food came out but one of the meals was completely incorrect, they took it back to the kitchen but left my partners to get cold. When waitress came back I asked her to take his to keep warm, it came back with the rest of meal but was completely cold. Despite that I still have to say the food was really good, my steak was tender and flavorful. I will give them another chance as my last time there was great but was not impressed by tonight's experience.

   Food was great. Was seated right next to the band so it was hard to have a conversation with my husband at our table. It appeared at times that our waitress forgot about us.

   hated the noise level, it would be good for a bar not a restaurant where you might want to talk. Won’t be going back.

   Food and drinks were great. Tables were tight together. We were seated close to other groups while the restaurant was empty.

   Would not go back. Overpriced considering the portion sizes. Filet steak was over cooked/burnt (ordered medium rare) and was extremely chewy. Appeared much smaller than 6oz. as indicated on the menu. Ordered cachaca shrimp for an appetizer, lacked flavour. Promptly told when we sat down there was a second seating after us in two hours so meal was rushed. Coffee was cold. Our server was wonderful and attentive. Made up for the disappointing meal.

   Went with my wife for Valentines' day last night. Salad was exceptional with bacon, melon, a sweet vinaigrette, and large chunks of warm cheese. My ribeye steak was perfect and delicious. Mashed potatoes were flavourless so I added pepper. My wife had skewers which were also delicious accompanied by mushrooms. The largest disappointment was the dessert. I had the chocolate cake and my wife the latin crepe. The cake was fine, but could have been store bought. At 12-14 dollars, I expected much better. The crepe was cold and chewy. The inside filled with dulce de leche had flavour but again, was cold. Service was exceptional. Environment was loud, but we could still have a conversation.

   We truly love this restaurant however, on busy nights like Valentine’s Day 1.5 hours isn’t enough time to enjoy your meal, 2 hrs is what I would recommend.

    First time at Hermano’s yesterday. I had been wanting to go there for some time now. Did not disappoint. Food was spectacular. Balsamic drizzle on the ribeye was a game changer. Server never offered us a second round of drinks. It Valentine’s Day. Seemed to want to rush us out a little. You pay for what you get. So it’s not cheap. $200 for the 2 of us including a drink each and an appetizer each. It’s a must try in my book. Would definitely go back.
