Hestia, named after the Greek goddess of the hearth, is a modern live-fire grill house. Dishes find inspiration from a custom 20-ft hearth which anchors the kitchen and dining room. Our menus offers an opportunity to explore and showcase techniques that highlight the role of fire in food. You may choose to order from our a la carte menu or experience our chef curated tasting menu.

From the OpenTable editors: When the MICHELIN Guide rolled into Texas in 2024, Hestia, from the famed Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, scored a coveted Star. Locals have long known it's a gem. To start, a 20-foot grill crackles with live fire in the center of the charcoal-toned dining room, where you can do a 12-course tasting with dry-aged Texas wagyu or choose from a la carte options like scallop in beef tallow. Or keep it casual at the bar with a wagyu burger, and pair it with a killer martini or a pick from the 400-bottle-strong wine list.

This reservation is for our 12 course Tasting Menu priced at $195 per person. We offer an optional Wine Pairing at $150 per person. We are unable to accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets as well as dairy and soy allergies.
Valentine’s Day @ Hestia

Join us for a special evening to celebrate your Valentine. Experience a multi-course dinner with special offerings, a curated optional wine pairing and featured cocktails. Tickets for dinner are $215 per person, with a wine pairing of $135. Show your Valentine your appreciation by indulging them with a night at Hestia. All checks will include a gratuity of 20%. If you need to modify or cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. Less than 24 hour notice may result in a $75 cancellation fee per person. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary restrictions.

It feels like the overall quality of the dishes has decreased over the last couple years rather than increased with the award of the Michelin star. The halibut dish used to be to die for, but it is no longer cooked quite as well, and the accompaniments are not as tasty as they used to be. We also tried a new small vegetable dish based on sweet potato, and it was unfortunately at disappointment, the cocktails and the desserts remain very strong.

Great tasting food. Sourdough and scallops are among the better you will find anywhere. The only negative of the evening was the weak cocktails. I told the waiter that everything was great and that we had tipped well. I told him politely, i thought the drinks were too weak, for this caliber of restaurant. He replied that was not possible because they measure precisely the liquor. Well sir, that may be why they are too weak. Highly recommend Hestia.

The service was exceptional. We had a team or waiters that made the experience more enjoyable. The food was delicious and filling. We chose to do the full tasting menu experience and it did not disappoint. Our favorite was the oyster, beef tongue, and dessert!

One of the best experience in a restaurant in Austin. I’m happy that they got a Michelin star.. is well deserved. Staff is really attentive (very hard to find that kind of service in Austin), chef’s menu with pairing is incredible well balanced and it really takes you on a journey of taste. Well done!!

Fantastic meal for a special occasion. Cam with a group of 6 to celebrate multiple birthdays. We opted out of tasting menu since we had 6 people and just ordered a bunch of things off the a la carte menu.
