This magical Edwardian building has been transformed to a beautiful bar, restaurant and private room where we hope to deliver to our customers an experience you won’t find anywhere else in Newcastle.
Join us to dine in our elegant brasserie which aims to serve classic dishes, including a generous Sunday lunch, using the very best ingredients with plenty of flavor but no fuss or in the bar for some light bites and fantastic drinks curated by a team of some of Newcastle best mixologists.
Above all we want you to relax, enjoy the music and feel at home here at Hibou Blanc.
Please note our bar operates on a walk-in only basis, and you can book our main restaurant to enjoy both our lunch and our a la carte menu. When joining for Afternoon Tea please state this in your booking notes.

Always a great experience. Superb food and cosy table. Just found out you can take your dog into the bar ! 6* Friendly staff and lovely relaxing atmosphere. A gem in Newcastle.

One of our favourite go to restaurants. Food was great as always although noticed there are a few supplements to be paid now on certain foods. Eg an additional £20 for fillet steak (it was delicious), an extra £10 for halibut, (it was nice but not worth the extra in my opinion). Only other point was we were told they needed the table back at a certain time which we had no problem with but we had pre booked in advance and we didn’t delay anything, the service was slower than usual but it was busy. We had literally just finished when advised the table was required now. All in all a lovely meal with friends as always. Highly recommend.

Perfect from start to finish. Becky ensured we had everything we needed and spent time helping my wife choose the perfect wine for each course. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was served in good time and tasted delicious. Thank you for helping our valentines evening rune beautifully.

Valentine’s Day lunch was absolutely delicious. Both of us had cheese soufflé to start followed by cod and halibut. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding and crème brûlée. Could not fault anything and the service was also first class.

Our first visit to Hibou Blanc, but certainly won't be our last! Fabulous food and delicious cocktails.

Excellent night with friends at Hibou Blanc. Lovely busy atmosphere with friendly attentive staff - the restaurant manager was brilliant and she found us a table in the bar when we moved from the restaurant. The food was delicious - we ordered prawn cocktail, cheese soufflé, soup starters and sea bass & veggie option mains Great wine list and a throughly enjoyable evening

First time visitors and the whole experience was wonderful. The server was knowledgable, the food was good and the setting was beautiful. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
