Hojoko is a rock n roll izakaya honoring the pulse of Japanese nightlife by serving sushi, robata grilled yakitori and street food small plates paired with craft cocktails, premium sake, wine, and beer. Located directly behind historic Fenway Stadium and walking distance from The MGM Fenway and The House of Blues, Hojoko is the perfect stop before any event.

This event was for four faculty members to congratulate on their recent promotion. The service and ambiance were exactly what they had hoped for!

Birthday lunch. Restaurant was empty but the service, food & ambience were excellent… we were very happy because we liked the impeccable service & yummy treats in a peaceful quiet environment. Decor is eclectic and modern, they gave us a free birthday dessert too! We will definitely return :)

Wait staff is attentive and helpful. Super chill and vibey ambiance. Everything on their menu is tasty. We had a great server who gave us a sample of some sake just to be nice!

Stumbled across this place before a show at the House of Blues. Amazing menu, very well executed - some Japanese, some Peruvian! Great cocktails and service, too.

The food was not as memorable as when we ate there a couple years ago. Was disappointed in the hospitality- we had an early reservation, requested a seat inside and they sat us on the patio even through the restaurant was empty inside. Would not return anytime soon

Great location and awesome food! Had Kobe burger and others had fried chicken, and Ramen. Didn’t disappoint

We sat at pool patio. It was perfect. Cool fall night....and the food was excellent. We had the burger, shrimp toast, and potstickers. Shared everything. Made well and tasty. We will be back

We had a wonderful dinner at Hojoko, Saturday night. From the moment we arrived for this special celebratory dinner of two old friends, we were treated splendidly. From the host, to our attentive and entertaining waiter (Mario V), to the bartenders, they all combined to provide us with a perfect evening! of course, we must tell you that the food was spectacular. We tried only dishes that we've never even heard of and every one of them were exotic and delicious!!! The drinks were unique and truly tasty, too!! We enjoyed EVERYTHING about our WONDERFUL evening at Hojoko. We hadn't heard about it before that night The evening was a surprise gift but we will never forget it, now! THANK YOU! We'll be back!!! [NOTE: We didn't catch his name but the Host who was on duty for our reservation at 6:15 on October 26, was great fun and treated this pair of women in their 70's, like absolute royalty. We want you all to know how much we appreciate his efforts!] Thank you! Marty & Pam
