   This was my husband and I's second time visiting Hollyhock Hill. It had been quite awhile but it was another great experience. I was really craving some good fried chicken and they didn't disappoint. We started with the salad and biscuits with apple butter. Salad was good. Their house-made sweet vinaigrette is very tasty. And of course the biscuits are a highlight. So soft and fluffy. Can't beat them with the apple butter. I ordered the fried chicken and my husband got the chicken tenders. They were both so juicy and flavorful. We also got the family style sides of mashed potatoes & gravy, corn & green beans. The gravy for the mashed potatoes is absolutely delicious. Then we finished the meal with a scoop of their vanilla ice cream. You definitely don't leave there hungry. Everything was great. Along with our server. We will for sure be back!!!

   Cannot disappoint!! Excellent fried chicken and I love love love their beets!! I’ve been twice and it’s been excellent food and service. Casual environment! Can’t wait to go back later this spring.

   Hollyhock Hill never disappoints! This evening there were 12 of us & a few came that had never been before. Not knowing what to expect they ordered what we recommended which was the Chicken. We all raved about how wonderful the food & entire evening celebration was!!

   Service was hit or miss with attentiveness and was slow. Most of the food was just okay but would have been better simply by being served hot. The food tasted like we got the leftovers not served to the dinner rush. The mac and cheese was excellent.

    We were there on a Thursday evening around 6:00 p.m. and it was not busy at all. The food was served family style as expected and our server was pleasant. It's kind of like a nice throwback to the past, like going to dinner at Grandma's house. We had no trouble holding a conversation as it was not loud at all. Overall a very nice experience.
