Holy Basil in Croydon Victoria has a very simple vision, to bring wholesome, delicious and exciting food to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Our dream at Holy Basil was to create an exciting diner in the Eastern suburbs where people can relax, come together, have fun and enjoy proper homemade food in a very inclusive environment.
We are proud to deliver 100% vegan and Vegetarian options at Holy Basil, use free-range eggs and source only sustainably caught seafood as well as a range of other exciting meals with 95% of the menu being gluten free.
At Holy Basil we make our own curry pastes, sauces, desserts, chilli jam, and roti.
We happily use gluten free soy and 100% pure fish sauce.
We greatly appreciate your support in choosing to dine at Holy Basil.

    Holy Basil is our favorite restaurant and last night I was delighted to share the experience with two friends, who had not visited before. Not only were they impressed with the delicious cuisine but also with the friendly and attentive service, from the moment we walked in the door. Overall, it was a great evening. I would recommend Holy Basil to anyone who values excellence in food and service.

    The food, the service and everything about this restaurant is outstanding, as always. We dined in recently as a change from our usual takeaway option and again cannot fault the food, service or staff. Exceptional. We will happily return and recommend.

    Food is delicious but staff rushed us through our meal and asked us to leave after 1 hour and 45 minutes. Shame as such a nice restaurant and fantastic food

    Our third visit in about 18 months to Holy Basil and is great each time. The hero is the food which is fresh, tasty and delicious. Service is lovely, knowledgeable and quick. A great dining experience.

    Came here tonight for my mums birthday, I've been a few times now. Food is absolutely lovely, staff were all really friendly, attentive and efficient. Holy Basil has such a nice vibe to it. Great place to eat!
