Michelle and Nathan Winship, husband and wife, present Honest Roots, a Miami restaurant with honest ingredients, straight from the farm to the table, making a new experience with taste, nutrition and health in a trendy and chic environment. The couple —joined by chef Mauricio García — pick up on the success of their previous restaurant, Michi’s, and bring in the culinary expertise of chef Mauricio Garcia to create an exciting new concept.

Besides lunch and dinner, the restaurant features brunch on the weekends, exciting cocktails, and a not-to-miss happy hour every day from 3pm to 7pm.

I made a reservation for December 31,2024 on the app, when we got there to our surprise the restaurant was closed. We had to find an alternative restaurant on such a busy day. The app and the restaurant should communicate with one another to have accurate information to avoid the user/customer have this issue and any other issues.

We had a reservation for 12/31 for an early dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely closed. We had to scramble to find a place to eat that would accept walk ins. Someone should have advised Open Table that the restaurant was closed that night.

First time visiting this hidden gem and won’t be the last. Loved the ambiance, decor, cleanliness and attention from our hostess. Food was fresh and prepared to order. Portions were appropriate. Our family enjoyed every minute spent there.

Riquísimo todo lo que comimos.. pedimos la hamburguesa el sabor de la carne estaba increíble, la pasta boloña favorita de Michis fue mi favorita también pedimos los 2 distintos platos de carne y estaba riquísimo.. mi favorito el que tenía chimichurri y ni hablar de las tostadas de tuna u los Tequeños la atención 10/10 super recomendado sin duda regresaremos

Honest and well prepared food. Our arugula salad was abundant with a nice dressing and a chunk of soft buffalo mozzarella. Cauliflower dough pizza was a hit. An excellent option for diabetics. The place is definitely small and loud due to a very high ceiling. To be a farm to table type of restaurant and the price level, I would have added fresh plants instead of plastic for decoration. Definitely a return option in suburban Doral
