Fantastic food and service. Scallops, ossobuco and burrata app were all wonderful. Service was great, attentive and efficient.

My husband and I found this jewel last October just after they opened. We liked it so much we canceled reservations for other places 5 different times just to go back. We came back on Feb. 21 st and have 5 reservations again. This is by far one of the best restaurants on the Island. The hostess remembered us immediately and one our favorite servers Mickey came over to say hi and give me hug. The entire dining experience you will love and the food is amazing. We always get the cornmeal crusted oysters, my husband loves the burger and truffle fries and fish and chips. I usually get the chefs seafood special of the day. The Chef is amazing and understands food, some of the best we’ve ever had. Last night we took the banana coconut cream pie back home and enjoyed it after our walk. This is the first dessert we’ve had there, and it was delicious.

My favorite restaurant. All was good. Except: The fish Dori was different this time. Both my husband and I ordered it and were disappointed in our meal. Breading was different and sauce was running and no flavor. Not its usual meal? We have eaten there three times in the past two months and always so enjoyable. The desserts were amazing. Also a suggestion: please put table lights on outside tables at night. We are regular customers from day one and truly one of my favorite restaurants.

We were so happy to be back at our favorite place in Maui! We love all the greats but something about Honu makes it our number 1! Everything we’ve ever had there has always been incredible but since it had been a while we had to have our two favorite items, the Ahi bruschetta and the mushroom pizza with a new addition cornmeal dusted oysters! All to die for. The owner and staff are all so friendly and hospitable. G was wonderful and the cocktails were fantastic! 5 stars all around! Oh and I forgot to mention the obvious, you can’t beat that location it feels like you’re floating in a boat house ! Thank you for carrying on the great legacy and making it your own ! Mahalo 🙏🏼
