I’ll have to give it another try. It was a cooler evening but the windows and doors were open. You basically are eating out doors. They only offer one dessert which they were out of at 5:30pm. The lobster Carbonara had some odd and very strong spice. Maybe Indian or Asian? I didn’t finish it. That might be the first time ever that I didn’t finish a plate of pasta. Not a large amount either. The lobster roll my wife had was very good. I will go back when it’s warm enough to eat outside and I’ll stick to the lobster roll.

Arrived to an empty restaurant with a reservation and they still make us wait 15 minutes outside in the cold. Easily could’ve sat us inside at our table and gave us water why we wait

We got there at our reservation time and told they were out of lobster and could not make any of the meals with lobster in them. Our reservation was at 7:45 and what I would consider early enough you should not be out of your main ingredient. We drove 1 hour to go there specifically for their lobster rolls

Food was delicious! Best clam chowder and lobster roll that we drove from Culver City for! Abbey was our server and was so great!

After seeing this all over social media, I expected it to be better. The best item on the menu, from what our group ordered, was the lobster bisque. Definitely order this. The crab cakes were ok but the lobster rolls fell short. They give a good amount of lobster but it is chewy and there is no flavor. The poke stack also had little flavor or seasoning. Service was slow and we received the appetizers before our drinks. It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t good.

Manager and head chef refused to remake lobster carbonara without the overly bitter cheese . We drove an hour for that dish after Facebook ad. Very disappointed ruined the Xmas dinner our first time .. there . Manager was rude and just said no substitutions! How is removing the cheese a substitution!? What if you’re allergic!just ego maniac chef , who hid behind kitchen wouldn’t come out to tell us in person. Sam the waiter was awesome, we still tipped him 25% as it was not his fault .. ??
