If you haven't been to Hook & Anchor yet, make your plans to go soon. Their Lobster Roll is an incredibly delicious treat not to be missed and their Clam Chowder is like no other. We can't wait to go back to have another great evening of fine food and service. Thank you Hook & Anchor.

Excellent restaurant with very tasty offerings. Their lobster roll was the highlight of the evening as we saw over 20 delivered in the time we were there. Also enjoyed the yellowtail cheek with multiple dipping sauces as well as the shrimp cocktail.

This was our first time here. We started with the fried green tomatoes and crab cake appetizers. The fried green tomatoes had a light, crispy crust. The crab cakes had plenty of crab and little or no fillers. The crab wasn't particularly sweet but the flavor was good. We shared a bowl of lobster bisque, which was room temperature at best. The server promptly replaced it with a much warmer bowl. Good thing because it tasted very good. My wife has the large lobster roll, which she very much enjoyed. I had the hook & anchor plate with red snapper (they had run out of my first choice, halibut). The side salads were larger than expected and the vegetables were fresh. We enjoyed the cilantro dressing it came with. The fingerling potatoes with my entree were very good.

Lobster rolls and wine recommendation was an amazing treat. The lobster was so fresh and came in big pieces, literally out of this world.

Was very excited to try this place but was let down. Room was very noisy and the seafood was only average. Frankly, it didn’t taste very fresh.

It purports to be some award winning seafood restaurant, but at 6:45 on a Sunday they were out of at least half a dozen items on the menu. Really nothing more than an expensive sports bar.
