   I love this restaurant, in a city full of great spots this is a real favorite. Ordered a new dish, Mahi Mahi with white beans and a delicious broth.. delicious.!!!

   focaccia was super. Veggie dumpling, veal parpadella, and grouper were amazing. Service was remarkable. We’ll be back!

   Sat at the bar. Friendly people, good local feel on a Tuesday night. The guy next to me said he comes here often and has never had anything but a great meal. Food and drinks were well prepared and tasty. Would come back.

   We booked specifically for fried chicken night. All of our party works into the early evening, so 8pm was the earliest we could do. We were never told that “running out” of the FEATURED ENTREE was a thing. We arrived, had a drink, and decided to leave to dine elsewhere. I had been hyping up the fried chicken to my partner and our friends for weeks before we booked our reservation, and were disappointed that the only advice given was “book earlier” by the owner. People have jobs, and it seems it would behoove you to prepare enough chicken to make it through the night. We might try again another time if our schedules allow, but this experience definitely left a stain on an otherwise stellar record at this restaurant.

   We've visited twice with reservations and both times had to wait for seating after showing up on time. Last night it was nearly 20 minutes before they offered us a table rather than the bar that we had reserved. I get that overbooking happens and you can't control how long guests linger at their seats, but 2 experiences in a row including a weeknight is off putting. The burger was overly saucy with green chile that had flavor nearly indistinguishable from the lettuce. Fries were soggy and under seasoned. I've heard great things about this burger but it was quite a disappointment. The chicken dish was much better with delicious mushrooms and a nice sauce. The pop tart dessert was honestly the best part of the meal.

   I have been a fan of Horno for some time but my last two experiences have been disappointing. I'm not sure if they have a new chef or if I happen to get them on bad nights. Last night, the service was very good, the waiter and support staff friendly and professional. However the food was disappointing. The mesclun salad was uninspired and the chicken dish (apart from the very tasty mushrooms) was bland. As for ambiance...it seems a bit too dark for me and noise level was such that it was hard to have a good conversation. I won't be going back for some time.

   Horno is consistently excellent. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is top-notch. It’s always a pleasure to dine in there.
