   I had booked a table for two which upon arrival was not reserved, yet other tables had reserved on them. The waitress told us to pick any table. We were not offered water for the table, there was absolutely no interaction at all from any of the staff in the restaurant. We went to get our carvery lunch, I was handed a plate which was quite hot but was not advised of this. I paid for our lunch, ordering two drinks from the bar. When we were finished our lunch the drinks still had not arrived. I got up twice from my seat and walked around the restaurant looking for staff. There was at that time none in the restaurant only the chef. When one came in the restaurant door I immediately approached her and explained we had yet to receive our drinks. They were brought to our table immediately. We sat there for about another 25 minutes. Again no one came to take our plates or advice of us desserts which I had enquired about when paying for lunch. We both left very disappointed with the whole experience. Food was good but the overall experience was very disappointing. We won't be returning for lunch again.

   We spent the afternoon in the Woodstock having an afternoon tea. The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend

   We ate dinner in the bar which was very comfortable and warm. Staff were lovely and friendly. Good was a set menu with our deal. It was a daily good variety.

   overall we had a fantastic few days the beds were very comfortable the pool was great the food was good but somw things were missing on asking we received the things that were missing we would recommend this hotel to all our friends and we would go back again

   Whilst the food was okay the bar area was in need of refurbishment as the seating was dated and upholstery was worn with noticeable areas ripped.

   All waiting Staff need to be trained in how to serve, check the room and tables. Breakfast layout is badly done, No through flow of people. Whole apples and Oranges should not be put out while still chilled from fridge. The room cleaning also need training in exactly how to clean a room and make a bed, not just pull duvet over b d and empty bins

   Dinner on the whole was good. The bread with the starter was a bit soggy and dessert (toffee roulade) was disappointing but the starter was lovely and the main (beef) was superb. Breakfast was nice but post covid I'm not sure how comfortable I am with a buffet.

    The food was amazing. I had the featherblade beef and it was “melt in your mouth” tender. Every dish I have at Woodstock is gorgeous. The staff are always so courteous and helpful.
