   We had a reservation for 2, and the hostess took us back to the corner of a side room that barely felt like it was apart of the restaurant. The main floor has nice lighting and a nice ambiance, but this back room that dirty and musty with bad lighting. The table was in a corner and so close to another we could barely get in our seats. We asked the hostess for another table and she said “our main floor is full with reservations” and I said “we had a reservation…” and she said “well sorry there’s nothing I can do about it.” So we sit and get the menu, which is less than desirable, so we settle on save foods like chicken tenders, soup and salad. It took nearly 30 minutes for these easy foods, and we were on a time crunch to get to a show at the theatre across the street. We considered getting up and leaving, but the food came as soon as we started to grab our coats. The food was gross - even something simple like chicken tenders. We barely ate it. I would never go back. Overall a really terrible experience. I wanted to say to the rude hostess on the way out “you’re pretty entitled for a restaurant with such a bad menu and bad food.”

   As soon as we walked in and were greeted by the Hostess we knew he had chosen the right restaurant. The waitress was caring and observant and the food delicious!

   Houlihans is a continued favorite in our family. Unfortunately last nights visit was not the best. One person in our party had to wait longer for their meal after we received ours since it was never put in, my husbands soup was never ordered and took quite a while to receive drinks. It was quite busy but our waiter rarely visited our table and that could’ve been the issue.

   Wait was an hour 45 and the place was packed but we had a reservation and were seated within about a minute or two. Bar was backed up but still got my drink within about 15 mins, no big deal. Food came out quickly for how busy it was. The good was good, not incredible but nothing to complain about. Chicken parm was good, wife had the stuffed chicken. Only complaint was we asked for our soup to come out first but we had to remind the server who brought our food out to bring the soup. She brought it right out and it wasnt a big issue. Soup was very good. We were both surprised our bill was only $65 for two entrees, two soups, and a martini. Great location and perfect for a bite and drink before heading to the park or giant center for an event. Overall we were impressed, especially with the price. Will definitely be going back.
