Cool venue, great menu selections, VERY poor service. 30 minute drink wait times, never got items we asked for, and the server just didn’t seem to care. Kid next to us spilled a drink and it took 20 minutes for someone to come around and clean it, definitely don’t go if you’re in a hurry. But the po boy was great!

Our server Marie was great! Food was okay but we recently dined at some remarkable restaurants. The music was okay but not fantastic on the evening we went. Drinks were good. Best thing about the place was the staff!

We arrived at 6 pm w/ a reservation and waited to 2 more ppl.in our party. We ordered drinks while we waited, I had a bloody Mary ( my favorite New orleans drink), the wife had a Malibu and pineapple., drinks were really good! When our party arrived, they ordered drinks and we talked! After that we ordered food, 2 of us ordered the Voodoo cornbread, which i don't know what or why they stopped cooking it in the lil black skillet as opposed to the super thick cornbread they currently have.....not good at ALL...unless u like a lot of thick cornbread! The other 2 ppl had the gumbo which was very delicious! Overall, it's not a quality restaurant as compared to all the other good ones around here but the food is eatable and tasty... I would give here a 3 out of 5.

We and our 2 kids (ages 12 and 15), came to House of Blues for our first trip to New Orleans. We sat outside, where heated lamps and lighting made for a wonderful setting. A band played classic rock and the food was top notch. Our waiter was Eric, who was friendly and fun. We will be back!!

We thought this might be a cool place to go. The food was good and the band was good. It was a Thursday so not many people. We had to order from the bar. No table service in the courtyard where the band played. It was rock music the night we were there so we walked up to bourbon street after dinner to catch some more night life.

It was the perfect laid back atmosphere for an evening out. The menu is simple and the food was amazing. The live band in the next room was enjoyable and was not too loud.
