Perched atop the rugged Ardmore Cliffs, House Restaurant is an oceanfront haven renowned for its stellar experiences and unparalleled services. Established in 2008, House Restaurant is the recipient of several awards and accolades, the most prestigious being a MICHELIN star first awarded in 2010, a legacy that has been retained annually.

Chef Patron Tony Parkin took reigns in October 2022, and infused House Restaurant's menu with a distinct global flair. We believe that making exceptional food begins with fantastic ingredients. Our goal is to take influence from our heritage and support local fishermen and farmers, pairing Ardmore and Ireland’s incredible local produce with global techniques.

    An exceptional seven-course spread featuring Ireland’s most succulent local produce, House Restaurant’s Tasting Menu Experience is globally applauded for its unique blend of flavours.                 An excellent experience all round. Wonderful friendly service, superb food and a stunning view. Lobster rogan josh and lobster topped garlic naan was a real delight. Well done to all involved and thank you very much for a wonderful evening.

                Having been looking forward to this experience for a number of months I'll honestly say I was disappointed with the food that we received. Whilst some dishes were extremely tasty, the menu as a whole didn't blow us away and some of the dishes were really disappointing and lacking any wow factor to them. We try and go to a couple of star restaurants every year and this unfortunately has been the biggest disappointment of them all. The wine pairing was lovely and the staff were attentive and kind, but there were 2 occasions where we had to ask whether we had a wine with the particular dish because either it hadn't been served or it wasn't due but we hadn't been made aware.

                All meal courses were explained in detail and properly spaced for maximum customer enjoyment. All food and drinks were carefully prepared and pleasing to our palates.The scenic water view added to the ambiance.

                The chef loves pepper and other strong spices, which often overwhelm other flavors. If you want a window seat, arrive early.

                Food and presentation wqs top-class. The view looking over the bay is beautiful and serene. Wine pairing was perfect and fun as we had wines not normally with a meal. The servers were a bit mechanical in their delivery and interaction. Perhaps this is by design. We prefer a bit more personality when being served at this level. While the views were stunning, the tables were much too low and difficult to get legs underneath (we are over 6’).

                Never disappoints - food of the very highest standards but made even better by the attentive (but too attentive!!) informed and friendly staff. Never pretentious and always our first choice for special occasions.

                What a triumph! We had the tasting menu and every course was both a surprise and a delight . The wine pairing took us to places we would never have considered and was sublime. 11/10
