Hudson and Essex is the premier restaurant of Mansfield’s rustbelt revitalization. Our sleek elegant space showcases a distinctive menu featuring local purveyors and wine from our own Cypress Hill Winery. Our menu changes with the seasons to keep our food fresh while keeping the customer favorites available all year.

Cypress Hill Winery is a boutique winery located beneath Hudson & Essex in the Carousel District of Mansfield, Ohio that remains loyal to the passion and the art of California wine. Family, friends (new and old), connoisseurs and novices alike are welcome. Join us! We look forward to meeting you.

For parties of 8 or more, we do require you to call in to the restaurant as we would need to make sure that we have enough tables available to accommodate you. We left smelling like a camp fire. Apparently they have a fireplace that randomly malfunctions and fills the entire place with smoke. The steaks were delicious but it was hard to enjoy them when all we could smell was smoke. 10-15 minutes between courses felt like an eternity.

We moved away for a few years but recently returned to the area. We used to enjoy Hudson & Essex often! We finally made it back today for Sunday brunch and it was as good as we remembered! Varied menu, excellent service and delicious meals! We're glad to be back!
