As always, the food and service was outstanding. Local management is great! However, as regular customers who always make reservations, we are disappointed to learn that Happy Hour will no longer be available to people sitting in the dining area, even with reservations and even with a 90 minute limit on the seating. This reflection of HH management (not the local management) will probably nudge us to spend less time at HH. What a shame to alienate regular customers! We would have given fewer stars to reflect the general management's snub but did not want to make the local folk who we know look bad.

Because I had filled in the special occasion question on the reservation, the staff new it was my husband's birthday and several of them mentioned it at various points in the meal service. At the end of the meal, our server intimated that my husband had the choice of two items for a birthday dessert treat. The key lime pie was delicious but I was surprised to see it on the bill after the way it was presented. When I inquired, I was told that it was not a practice of theirs and that the pie would remain. This should definitely be better explained at the time the dessert is being pushed by asking for a choice of two for one's birthday.

We always have a good time at Hudson House. Ede always gives us excellent service. Trent stopped by to help us out!

The happy hour is only at the bar and it is packed. That price is not available if you are seated at a table. A little bate and switch here. They do make the policy clear but pay 2x compared to the bar crowd is a put off. Service was slow and required multiple requests. Food was good once it arrived and the requests completed.
