   The food was great but the service seemed understaffed. Long periods of time without seeing our waitress or being helped. The tables around us all seemed to have the same experience. Not what I expected for the price I was paying.

   The food and drinks were immaculate, the service however was not good. Slow, unresponsive and forgetful are the three words I would use to describe it! At 60% capacity I would expect less wait times and more attentive staff.

   Food is always fantastic. Our service was a little slow today but not a big deal. One of my favorite neighborhood places to frequent

   Everything was fantastic, except the restaurant does not cover complimentary valet, and the valet is $10.00 plus $1.50 fee.

   It would have been nice for them to offer a small birthday dessert. Food was yummy. Truffle fries needed to be warm in my opinion.

   Our server today was terrible! Were seated at 7:08 weren’t greates until 7:20. Didn’t receive our drinks until 7:42. Never in my life had service at a restaurant been so bad. Despite this, food was amazing and will be returning to see if service is better!

   Four of us arrived exactly on time for our 6:15 reservation. We were taken to our table immediately. Wine delivered quickly. Orders taken. My brother had fish tacos - excellent. His wife had the red snapper - excellent. My wife had the chicken parm. Chicken was excellently the rotini pasta in red sauce was too spicy for her. Being a Texas man I tried the pasta and it was genuinely way too spicy for even my taste, needs to be thicker and less spicy. Seemed out of line with the chicken parm, like two different dished on one plate. I ordered the lobster roll. It was a serving spoon of lobster salad on top of thick toasted brioche bread - not split and filled but salad perched on top. I counted 3 small pieces (3/4” x 1/2”)of what might have been claw meat. The total salad was mostly celery and maybe a little dill in a mayo base. Not at all what I expected for $29.00. I would pay more for a better lobster roll. Of course our overall dining experience was very good, especially the truffle fries enjoyed to the last fry. We’ll be back to continue to move through the menu as we really enjoy the Hudson House ambiance.

   Always consistently good. Martin was a great was an outstanding member of wait stall . Had him before. He’s great. Give him a bigger job. Goes out of his way with customers.

    The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Most of the tables are comfortable booths. Derry served us very well, keeping us informed of which dishes were coming out next. We had salads (Greek and Beverly), sushi (the Best Roll), Lobster Roll, Pan Seared and Redfish Tacos, and Truffle Parm Fries. We have been back twice and look forward to our next visit (located in the River Oaks Shopping Center.
