   It was good. Expected better service and someone to at least say happy anniversary. Celebrated 20th here tonight. First night in Maui and wasn’t that impressed with service. Atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal and the fish tank bar is incredible! $80 for filet and $80 for snapper that was good but we’ve had better for much less.

   What a beautiful location and tasty food. We almost licked the plates! I reccomend arriving early to valet park, have a drink at the hotel bar and walk around the beautiful grounds before your reservation. What could have been better...a table on the water and turn off the restaurant music when the luau music is going, the competing sounds were a bummer.

   Amazing Brussels sprouts, fish and coconut prawns. Wagyu steak was way too seasoned and not cooked to requested temperature

   Service was good, food was average and INCREDIBLY overpriced. Maui is expensive- it just is- but this place is obscenely expensive for sub-par food. The atmosphere is fine- at the fish tank bar. The rest of the restaurant feels like you’re in a Vegas hotel. There’s nothing wrong with Vegas, but when you’re in Maui, you don’t want Vegas vibes. At least we didn’t. There are so many other, better restaurants to choose from.

   From the moment we stepped into Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, we were blown away by the ambiance, service, and, most importantly, the food! Every dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Even our two young children (3 and 6) loved their Starburst drinks and teriyaki steaks. A special shoutout to our server, Bryan, who truly elevated our evening. His knowledge of the menu, attentive service, and friendly demeanor made us feel so well taken care of. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

   The cauliflower entree was undercooked and the sauce was too sweet and too sour. The sea bass was fine. The sunset and view was extraordinary. Our server. Bryan must have been experiencing an "off" night. When I asked about the vegan tofu entree (not on menu, you have to ask for it) that I enjoyed in Aug. 2024 he said the menu had changed and sometimes the chefs throw the baby out in the bathwater. When I asked if he could give us two separate checks split according to what we each ordered he said they don't usually do it (although no problem in Aug). Then he shares that he created two because we were "nice". So strange.

    Everything was just ok. Couldn’t see the ocean view, as you needed to pay an extra $35 Per person to sit by the water but had no idea until we got there, even inquiring with concierge several times, there was no mention of preferred upcharged seating. Disappointing experience, food & service. And the bill at the end of the meal was $400 for 2 adults and 3 children. definitely not worth it.
