   Such an amazing ambiance - wonderful climate , outside by the ocean . Wait staff was amazing ! Very expensive but most things in Hawaii are . Would definitely come back !

   Great food and service. Nice view of the ocean and sunsets depending on the time. Snapper was great, ube bread was fantastic. Dessert, pineapple cake was okay

   We paid the extra money to get a seat along the rail at sunset. It was totally worth it. We each got a glass of Prosecco and a ahi amuse. Service was outstanding. Jonathan greeted us and wished us Happy Anniversary. He was very attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. The other staff was excellent as well. We chose the four corse pre-fix menu which was just the right amount of food. Courses were timed perfectly, water glasses kept full, clean silverware after each course. It was a wonderful experience.

   Took 45 min to get a simple wedge salad and for the cost of it the portion was not only small but hey didn’t even cut it knowing we were sharing. Seafood platter was good Now to the steaks - we ordered the waygu that should be perfect cut yet was veiny- not worth $100+ the filet was horrible. Grainy and dry again for $90+ horrible. Then finally we had a birthday dinner and yet they didn’t even bother to provide a desert with a candle never have I seen such a way over priced dinner as poorly managed and waited. I would NOT recommend Thai place to anyone save your money and go somewhere else.

   We dined here twice while on vacation. Everything was great from start to finish on both occasions. The cocktails are delightful. My filet mignon one night and swordfish the next night were memorable. Perfect ambience and service. Special vegan requests from my partner were also excellent.

    Humuhumu is a charming dining experience. The traditional Polynesian decor creates a delightful dining atmosphere, and the menu provides delicious versions of Hawaiian seafood. Two of us particularly enjoyed the kampachi catch of the day. The one thing that prevented the experience from being as good as we have enjoyed in the past was the blaring soundtrack which seemed to be a melange of pop music of jarring variation from the last 50 years. It was a stark contrast to the much more appropriate Hawaiian-based sountrack we have enjoyed in the past and which was much more fitting to the charming setting.
