Our server Nick was the best thing about this restaurant unfortunately. We were really looking forward to coming here for the last night of our holiday but it was somewhat ruined by the fact that my friend who had her 6 year old daughter with her was told by a very rude staff member that she would not be served a glass of champagne as she did not have identification with her. The food was average, this place has nothing on Gather on Maui at the golf club. We went to a different restaurant every night of our trip and this one was the biggest letdown. Nick was lovely and if it wasn’t for him this would be a 1 out of 5 review

Overall it was nice but the service was a bit lacking and the dishes were overpriced even by Maui standards.

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jay during our visit at the bar, and he is truly the best bartender we've ever encountered! From the moment we sat down, Jay’s warm and welcoming energy made us feel right at home. He has an incredible knack for reading his guests and crafting personalized cocktails that not only taste amazing but are beautifully presented. Jay’s knowledge of mixology is unmatched. He didn’t just make drinks—he created an experience. Beyond his talent, Jay has a genuine personality that makes him stand out. His quick wit, engaging stories, and effortless professionalism turned our evening into something truly special to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It’s clear that he takes great pride in his craft, and it shows in every detail. If you're lucky enough to be served by Jay, you're in for a treat. We enjoyed Thanksgiving “Seafood & Rose” at the Grand Wailea. It was truly an exceptional time. Our server, Deborah, was absolutely delightful throughout and was so gracious to be sure we received our kama’aina discount and a green tea to go! The buffet was over the top, from the raw seafood bar to carving station and everything in between. We dined on oysters, poke, sushi, prime rib, lobster tarts, pumpkin french toast, and so much more. I would highly recommend enjoying a holiday experience if you have the chance. This was originally scheduled to take place at Humu, but we were told due to renovations we were moved to Haleakala ballroom. We were seated outside by the waterfalls and it was a wonderful dining experience with personal space to take in the afternoon.
