   Never a letdown. Always a number one choice go to spot. Good food, good people, good service, and good location. Scratch that! Perfect everything! We just keep going back. Always something new. From stories to food and just the environment. Ask about the rumors or ghost stories. Ask about the history of the building. Ask about the fireplace and water gate! Ask about the cat!! Have a trip for a tasting and a tour.. that's a must. They make their own bourbon, among other things. Hope this post helped. Happy eats.

   Wonderful drinks and food with a menu heavy on seafood. Allergies being what they are, I recommend a few more options for those with food restrictions. That said, shrimp and oysters were amazing and the brussel sprouts were the best ever.

   Amazing food, great service, but the music was very loud just before 6pm (when they turned it down, presumably for dinner time)—I couldn't understand the person sitting next to me.

   Had dinner with my Mom who was visiting out of town. Our server was Sean. Sean was prompt, friendly, accommodating and personable, he even did offer some great dishes. First we shared the brusssel sprouts, which were recommended and very delicious. Mom had the single crab cake and she said her dinner was great! I had the pork ribeye with posted pork ribeye with potatoes and asparagus, divine! After dinner we shared an apple cheesecake but at Sean’s suggestion we put raspberry sauce on it. It was lovely! I would surely recommend the Hunt Room to anyone. Enjoy!

   Our dinner surpassed our expectations! We were warmly greeted by the hostess to a warm roaring fire. We were seated in a cozy booth and our waiter came right over to greet us. Our food was amazing! Husband had the crab cake app, yum, and lobster Mac and cheese. I had the fried shrimp and it was the best we have ever had, my husband has to try since I was raving about them. Thank you for such an awesome meal!!

   Always enjoy the ambiance here and the venison is always delish! Filet was undercooked and raw sent back for med and still got the same filet overcooked on outside and still raw in the middle so that was disappointing. Drinks are always perfection! Waiter said they were understaffed and it showed we had a table of 6 and had to keep flagging him down for drinks. Overall it was nice we will come back but may skip The Hunt room and go straight to the Raleigh for drinks & live music!

   The Hunt Room is our favorite restaurant at the Beach. Love the Smoked Old Fashion, the Rockfish was great and service awesome.

    GREAT service provided by Angelina and as always the food was delicious. My coworkers were first timers and they really enjoyed the food and drinks. I look forward to seeing you guys the next time we’re in town for business.
