   Great menu. Vegan & vegetarian options available. Great drink menu. Server was a little slow but was crowded so I assumed she was busy. Food served promptly. Was live music night we were there. Music was very loud for the small space. Would have better something lighter like jazz or indie etc

   We find the food at Cavalier restaurants to be similar to Disney— fine, but not as good as you want, expect or that it could be. Especially disappointed in the sauce for the fried shrimp. Tastes like it was just ketchup and ranch. Not a remoulade or cocktail sauce at ALL and not as flavorful as chick fil a sauce. Every time we eat at a restaurant at the Cavalier they are out of something, unfortunately this time it was something we were really looking forward to— oysters Rockefeller. They could step it up, from a culinary perspective.

   We love Hunt Room. Highly recommend. He food is excellent. The service friendly and professional. And such a warm cozy place.

   I made a reservation for a special event. We were 10 minutes early and were told the party at our table was finishing their entrees so we would need to wait a few minutes. We did not get to our table until 10 minutes after our reservation. We were seated in a table in the middle of the room when I had specifically asked for another table. We waited a while for our waitress to take our order so we ordered apps and our entrees. One of our apps…the oysters Rockefeller were full of shells. The other apps were good. Our entree was meh. The crab cake was good but the rice pilaf was dried out and cold. The asparagus was tasteless. If you are going for drinks and apps I would recommend this place but not for dinner. It was extremely disappointing.

   The soup special was Jalapeño Popper on the night we went for my husband’s birthday & it was so fabulous we ordered another one immediately upon completing the first - we’ve never shared a menu item so irresistible. Please make this soup a permanent menu item !!! The Lobster Mac & Venison Loin were also cooked to absolute decadent perfection & the service was outstanding. The space has the ambience of a cozy, high end (yet not pretentious) ski resort lodge, and was decorated wonderfully for the Christmas season. We will definitely be returning !!!

   Went during the holiday season so the entire hotel was a party. Decorated quite well i might add. The Hunt Room is downstairs and looks like a real pub. The ambiance is classy, warm woods and hunting paraphernalia, trophy animals on the walks, a cozy fire place and comfy booths and tables. Really nice. The bar area was still busy with the party so the noise level was high over there, as expected. We were taken to our table immediately, in the other side of the room in a comfy booth. Less loud there so taking was easy. The staff was prompt, knowledge and engaging. We ordered the smoked old fashioned and an app of roasted Brussel sprouts. Both were top notch. My partner ordered the hunt burger and I ordered the venison. Both came out hot and smelled great. We shared with each other, as we do, and I found both meals to be quite good. We ordered the bourbon balls for dessert, which tasted really good, but needed more bourbon. Throughout the evening people came into the hunt club from the various holiday parties, dressed to kill! It was like a fashion show for us. We will be back.

   As usual service and food was amazing. Cocktails upstairs, cocktails and dinner in the Hunt Room.

    Filet mignon was not seasoned very well nor was it the right temperature asked for. The venison loin was perfectly cooked however it wasn’t seasoned very well either. Service was excellent, the food needs improvement.
